I would like to discuss this controversial topic. Spanking Children. Maybe most of us don't have kids. However, I think it’s very important for us, because one day in the future we’ll have kids ((in sha’a Allah)). We live in an atmosphere full of things that can intervene in raising children such as technology, media…etc. Raising children and discipline are really related together. Because sometimes kids make mistakes and misbehave so, their parents have to teach them what’s right and wrong. Therefore, sometimes parents need to punish their kids. The question is what is the most effective method. There are many methods of discipline. One of them is Spanking. I would like to talk about Spanking because it’s illegal in Canada !! J
As I mentioned spanking is illegal in Canada; however many people use spanking at least not in front of people or at public areas. Spanking could be useful or harmful depends on how people use it. Some people misunderstand the meaning of spanking. Actually, they think they love their kids but, they hurt them. Spanking could be effective at good way under two conditions. First, it must not be harmful. Second, people have to tell their kids why they have been spanking. If people follow these two conditions, I think spanking could be useful.
My parents had been spanking me many times but, It doesn’t mean I was bad boy kkkk J. Now answer this question telling us your opinion.
Do you think spanking is good way especially in this generation full of Technology, Media, and Internet?
