Helloooo everybody ~
As you know up coming week is full of final exams. I'm really
stressful. Not only final exams push me, but also my flight back to
Saudi Arabia. I bought my ticket one month ago, and it's on Dce 10th.
However, I did not realize that this ticket would pushes me and makes
me think a lot about my family. Actually, this situation interrupts me.
Sometimes I can not focus very well on my study. Also, my home stay
father in on a vacation. Which means I'm alone at home. I tried to
overcome this difficulty. What I did is I made a study group. In fact,
I have gotten two benefits from that so far. First, I do not have to
study alone, and feel depressed. Second, I filled out the missing
notes from classes. That's awesome. Now I feel better, but I still
think about my family back home. I know i have to be patient.
Finally, I hope you all the best in your exams.

EAP Heritage Day Party
Helloooo everyone~
This is my first time to be in an EAP Heritage Day Party, and it was awesome. I liked many things at that party. There is no doubt the first thing is the food. However, I did not tried any different kinds
of food except the Saudis food. The reason why is because I missed my mother and sisters' food, and it's a big opportunity for my to eat food similar to their food. In fact, I felt like I'm between my mam
and sisters. The Saudis girls' cooking was amazing. I could tell because I'm good at cooking too, but I have no chance to cook at my home stay in Calgary. I have been living alone for about 6 years when I was a
university student in my country. Therefor, I had to cook for my self. Another thing is it's a good time to meet people from all around the world. Finally, I took a lot of pictures at that fabulous party, and I'm going to save them. It will be a nice memory in the future :)
Thank you

Niagara Falls
Hello everyone,
A dream became true, I had repeated this statement many many times after I went to Niagara falls. It was unforgettable trip. Not only because the dream became true but also because I saw Niagara falls from two different angels: Top and Bottom.
First of all, when I saw the falls from the helicopter, I was little frustrated because it looked smaller than I expected. In fact. I did not realized that we were flaying very very high in the sky, so the falls look very small as you can see in the picture below, but the sight from the helicopter was incredible. There are no words that can explain how I felt at that time. As you know the river is a boundary between Canada and America, so I could see some of united states from the air.
From the other angel. It is the closest point to the falls. We used an elevator to get there. Approximately it's 100m or more under the sea surface. Actually, I should have cried because of the happiness I felt at that day.
Finally, I really recommend going there. I'm thinking to go there in winter season, so I can see the falls in totally different view.
Here is some picture of my trip.
Thanks :)

Toronto
Hi guys,I traveled to Toronto last weekend to attend a conference. Toronto is a big city. It is beautiful and super busy. The conference was located near by CN tower. This tower considered one of the tallest towers in the world. I traveled around the city. Almost everything is in a hurry. People walk fast, drive fast, and speak fast. I was living at a hotel named Bond Place Hotel. The hotel is very nice, but one of the worker was not polite. For this reason, I started looking for differences between people live in Calgary and Toronto. In fact, the biggest difference is people live in Calgary are much nicer and friendly than people live in Toronto. For example, first problem I had faced is when I was asking for something at the reception of the hotel, the phone rang, and the lady answered with out saying excuse me or give me a second. I was shocked. Another thing is when I was walking in down town, people drive their cars too fast. It was dangerous, and I had to make sure before crossing a street. Finally, at the airport at checking point the lady was shooting at people. She was not friendly at all and angry. I thought that her boyfriend might have cheated on her. kkkk :(
I really really wanted to comeback to Calgary as soon as possible. Yes, sometimes Calgary a little bit boring; however, I really missed it when I was in Toronto. I'm going to do my best to stay in Calgary, and get my Master's degree.
Thank you :)

How do you know that you became addicted to Facebook.
Recently, people became depend too much on the technology. In different ways, some people spend a lot of time using technology even if they don't need that. One of these was is using Facebook. Obviously, there are a lot of disadvantages, but I won't talk about that. As I mentioned before, who is the addicted to Facebook.
At least in my perspective, there are 3 things prove that you became an addicted.
First, whenever you sign out, immediately you feel that you really need to sign in again. Second, you ignore big part of your typical life, social life, and work life to spent time on Facebook. Third, you become worried , sad, and think a lot about it when you cannot use Internet and sign in.
In fact, I'm not addicted to it. However, I Know many people are addicted. They're online 24/7. They use it in classes, buses, trains, malls, and houses.
Now, are you addicted to Facebook? If so, why?
Thank you :)

Zidane
Hi everyone ,
ZiZO.. his full name is Zinedine Yazid Zidane. He was born on June 23,1972 in France. His parents are form Algeria, and he is Muslim. Since I was born I haven't seen a soccer player like him. In fact, he considered one of the greatest player in the history of soccer. It was a big surprise when many people in worldwide voted to choose him as the best European player for last 50 years until 2006. There is no doubt he was. Moreover, he had won FIFA World Player of the Year - 1998, 2000, 2003, and other over 35 different prizes.
He had played in France, Italy, and Spain with 5 different teams. Cannes and Girondins Bordeaux in France, Juventus in Italy, and in Spain with Real Madrid. In total he played over 680 games, and he scored 128 goals. In addition, he had played with France international team over 100 games, and he scored 31 goals. He had scored many important goals. However, in my opinion the most important two goals he had scored were in the final match in World CUB 1998 against Brazil Team. There are no words that can express how I felt at that time.
Here is the goals.
This amazing player has several fantastic characteristics that made me LOVE him. He never gave up during games. For example, in EURO 2004 France vs England the score of the game was France 0-1 England until last minute 90'. In the three add time Zidane scored two goals , and put French Team in the front.
Here is the summary of the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FpZI_ODSU4&feature=related :1min
Also, He is clever, flexible, and an accurate player. He can control the ball incredibly, and he is good at free kicks. I won't explain or give examples, this video shows you why I LOVE him. Enjoy watching :)

My Neighborhood
Hi everyone ,
I'm here after a week full of midterm exams :) so far so good.
My neighborhood in Saudi Arabia is totally different than my neighborhood in Canada. First of all, in my neighborhood in my country we live in such an age categories, old people together, young together, and kids together. At the same time, everyone knows each other old, young, and kids. We always take care of each other. For example, when someone of our neighbors is sick, we visit them, make food for them, and take care of their children if it necessary. On the contrary, I live in a home stay in North East of Calgary. My home stay father has been living in the same place for over 15 years. Although, he knows few neighbors. I was surprised, but I thought that was because of his personality. So far I have been living in this neighborhood for about 7 months. I even don't know my neighbor's name :(
I see them drive their cars when I go to school in the morning or when I come back home every day. Almost there is no connection between neighbors in this neighborhood.
I'm wondering what some causes of this situation?!
Does anyone have faced like this situation?!
Thank you :)
